RGB
The “RGB” plate series was created in the fifth semester of the ceramic design vocational class. In response to a complex brief, a minimal, graphic solution was produced. The four plates verge on functional ware while escaping traditional plate usage.
This plate series was developed in the fifth semester of the ceramic design vocational class. Four plates across four sizes feature distinct attributes (foot, handle, rim, hanging bracket). The decoration was applied directly onto clay using screen printing on porcelain slabs.
Porcelain slabs were rolled on a slab roller and hand cut. Extruded tubes were cut and joined for the attributes (foot, handle, rim). Screen print decoration was applied directly onto leather-hard porcelain slabs.
