Pyramids
The “Pyramids” lamps were created during the foundation course at the Lucerne School of Design & Art. For Till Herion, they marked the beginning of his fascination with ceramics. The starting point was a simple geometry reproduced via slip casting, leading to diverse lighting iterations.
The “Pyramids” luminaires were developed independently and produced by Till Herion during the foundation course at the Lucerne School of Design & Art. All resulting lamps were exhibited at “Kunsthaus 9a” in Bern.
The shades were slip cast and fired unglazed, then further refined with various techniques. Till Herion frequently combined porcelain with metal, engineering custom fastening systems to join cast pieces.
